The basic functions of Garageband, creating their own sample based composition. |
Begin to input their own piano pieces and edit their music. |

Project 2 |
Improving keyboard skills and singing |
Right hand keyboard playing, reading simple notation. Singing in harmony. |
Play with two hands, sing in small groups or solo. |

Project 3 |
‘The Passenger’ - Iggy Pop – whole class |
Learn to play as a group and create new versions of Iggy Pop’s The Passenger. |
Play on their own instruments or chose to learn Guitar/Bass. |

Project 4 |
The Blues |
To perform Duke Ellington’s C-Jam Blues which includes Improvising, playing chords and a walking bass line. |
Play the Guitar/Bass, use two hands on the keyboard (chords in the right and walking bass in the left) |
