Year 9 Visit Tate Britain
Year 9 students visited a private exhibition of the British artist Barry Flanagan at the Tate Britain. The students were intrigued by the bronze sculptures and other pieces which triggered their curiosity and a series of questions of the purpose and concept behind of his work. They also explored the gallery on the quest for the style that suited them. They sketched and developed a critical understanding of the paintings and sculptures, making this experience another successful Art trip.
