Department CPD Sessions

At the beginning of the academic year, department teams meet and discuss what subject-specific CPD sessions they would like to run. These take place once every half-term and are either led by staff from within the department, outside the department to develop cross curricular links or specific aspects of practice, within the Harris Federation such as subject consultants, or external providers. Each session will have clear ‘takeaways’ that staff can put into practice immediately. After trying these new strategies for half a term, staff are then asked to reflect and provide feedback on how their practice has improved as a result.
