Well done to our Year 10 football team for their 4:2 win against Archbishop Tenisons yesterday. The goals came from Joshua, Khyro, Reece and Callum. A big thanks to Sixth Formers Romel (referee), Tomiwa and Eric (Linesmen) for officiating the game.

Academy Sports Day 2021

This week saw the return of Sports Day and for many of our students, the first opportunity to take part in a competitive sports competition for almost 2 years!

Our fantastic PE team had a huge hurdle to face; organising a day of sports for Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 that offered an array of activities for students to compete in, all whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Sports Day was spread over two days and in order to get as many students participating as possible, the range of activities on offer was widened to include not only track and field events, but also football, basketball, netball, badminton and table tennis!

As you can see from the photos, the weather was good and the students had a great time competing and spectating. The results were as follows:
