Microsoft teams

Dear Parent/Carer,

Online Learning via Microsoft Teams

To better support your child’s learning at this time we are introducing a new on-line learning platform called Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams is currently up and running for Years 10 to 13 and we are extending access to Years 7 to 9. This will supplement rather than replace the work set on the Academy website which you can access from this page

In addition, video resources are available via our YouTube channel

Microsoft Teams is accessible either as a web page or via a downloadable app for phones, tablets and PCs. Access is granted via your son or daughter’s normal @hfed.net log-on username and password.

To help support your child we have created a parent-guide which takes you through all the steps necessary to access Microsoft Teams.

This is available to download via the following link:

User's Guide to Microsoft Teams

If you child encounters problems when trying to access Microsoft Team with their username or password, they should contact their form tutor in the first instance.

If you have a more general query regarding online learning please contact myself at  a.thirkill@harrispurley.org.uk.

We truly appreciate your on-going support with your child’s learning at this difficult time.

Yours sincerely,

Mr A Thirkill
Assistant Principal – Learning, Teaching and CPD
