2025 Results
Ten grade 9s at GCSEOver the Summer, Year 11 and Y13 students at Harris Academy Purley celebrated an excellent set of results, as the Academy saw a fourth straight year of improved exam results at both GCSE and Sixth Form.
Amongst the many success stories, there were some notable achievements by individual students:
Year 11
- Mawadda Elnur, who achieved ten grades 9s, and is our top student of the year.
- Piotr Paluch, who achieved four grade 9s, five grade 8s and a Distinction*, and is our top male student of the cohort.
- Shunxi He and Eugene Wu, who both achieved six grades at 8 and 9 across their 10 GCSEs.
- Nhyriaba Asare, Titobiloluwa Adeola, Kevin Monteiro, Raphael Van Ruth, Tyray Soloki, Arnesh Kadel, and Harry Grant all gained a number of grade 9s and 8s as part of their excellent set of results.
- A special mention must go to Ethan Chen, one of our Year 8 students, who achieved an outstanding grade 9 for his Maths GCSE.
Year 13
- Azaan Shah, former Head Boy at Harris Academy Purley, who achieved three A grades in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and will begin reading Medicine at City, St George’s University of London.
- John Arco, who achieved Distinction* grades in Sport and Business and an A in Maths. John will soon begin studying Economics and Actuarial Science at the University of Southampton.
- Kirish Karthgaisevlan, who achieved A, A, B grades in Maths, Physics and Computer Science and has accepted a place at the University of Southampton to study Mechanical Engineering.
- Leigh-Ann Campbell, who achieved A, B, B grades in Sociology, Psychology and Economics and will be studying Psychology at the University of Southampton
Key Stage 4 Results for 2025
- Attainment 8 Score Average: 47
- Percentage of students with a grade 4+ in English and Maths: 65%
- Percentage of students with a grade 5+ in English and Maths: 50%
- Percentage of students entered for the EBacc: 50%
- Percentage of students staying in education or employment after Key Stage 4: tbc
